If you’re a retiree living in Sarasota, according to U.S. News and World Report, you’re in the right place.

The company named Sarasota the No. 1 place to retire in 2018 on a list of spots that “provide a high quality of life at an affordable price.”

The U.S. News analysis compared the top 100 metropolitan areas in the U.S. in areas like affordability, desirability, taxes, job market and access to healthcare.

The article calls it great for “rejuvenation and relaxation,” but “far from your typical beach town.”

U.S. News cites the area’s mid-century modern architecture, median home price of $226,200 and “high quality of life” thanks to the orchestra, ballet, opera and theater offerings. Florida’s lack of state income tax as another asset mentioned in the report.

According to the U.S. census data from 2016, 35% of Sarasota’s population is over the age of 65.

Other top cities on the list of 35 include Tampa, Orlando, Phoenix, Houston and Nashville.
